God damn, what an absolutely sweet chapter... it feels particularly meaningful that the Master was okay with reserving the space, since the birthday kids plate has a lot of smaller servings of dishes. Not to mention melon and other fruit, from the look of it... he's a soft hearted guy. What a lovely chapter.
As an aside, I finally was able to sit down and watch the live action adaptation! Me and my pal whos never read the manga checked it out, what a great adaptation Really hits the heart of the series- melancholy, humor, and a very warm portrait of very normal people. But Kosuzu-san sure is particularily stylish in the live action! I'm a little smitten....
