I feel like it might be the 'uptight friend' being the affair partner versus 'man chaser' to subvert expectations or wahtever

Would a male manager giving lingerie to a female coworker be considered sexual harassment?

Considering JP sells vending machine panties (or they used to?) , it is a bit weird even if it's like those cotton multipack walmart has versus something 'sexual looking', i wouldn't even want that from a female coworker versus like "I had a gift card that was about to expire/i don't go to this place usually so i bought these panties but they're not really my thing" and give them to someone else. tho still would rather them being in packaging rather than loose or so grabbed from a bin lol

(tho depends on how expensive underwear is in JP lol)

although it's also awkward to be like "how are things in bed" even to a friend or so lol versus them also being married and bringing it up b/c they have issues with their own husband

I wonder if the coworker knows and is trying to snitch or so. tho it'd prolly just be better to blackmail the husband or whatever depending on the story

I feel like a female manager giving a female coworker lingerie can still be considered sexual harassment. I guess it depends on the vibe?
But anyway I'd rather get chicken stew...

In one of the companies I worked for, in our sexual harassment training they used a male manager giving a male colleague sexy underwear (it was a bra for some reason) as the example of something never cool.

The joys of trying to not get a bad outcome.
There's really just one simple answer to all this: avoid talking to coworkers on personal matters, stuff outside of work. Heck, if you can, just avoid talking to them entirely, or at the very least make sure it's not just the two of you talking alone.

Ah yes, an increase in loneliness.

Figure out who you can trust as a friend. You also don't need to overshare and leave yourself vulnerable.

There's a huge difference between talking about a family gathering or your hobbies versus sex life.

Hmm. But if you're their friend then you know what lines to cross with that friend.
Like if I have to give an example, I can ask 1 of my friend anything (i don't) and he'll sometimes share it himself too, while another one will never talk about that stuff and also would never like being asked.

This is harassment regardless of who did it. Coworkers giving that as a gift is insane, if she was friends with her manager and it was outside working hours it'd be different but seems like it wasn't...
