I knew little about the world of Shogi, and it was fascinating (and saddening) to find out that it is this sexist. An amazing series and more people should read it.

Wow I can't believe that Satoru, who I hated at first, would actually turn out to be such a fascinating character! And Ayumi was perfect, though I thiiiink I would have liked it more if Ayumi was actually a woman.
