BTW, it actually looks like there's a third volume in the works. The author afterword for the second volume says

次はもっと早く出せるように頑張ります.

i.e. she'll try her hardest to get the next volume out faster.

Looks like there are newer chapters, with the latest one すれ違い having been posted in December. Which means I've still got hella chapters to scan. Looking forward to it.

P.S. Support your mangaka if you can. It's pretty hypocritical of me, the scanlator, to say so, but showing one's (preferably monetary) appreciation means a lot, I'm sure. Personally I'd like to get a hard copy just for the joy of reading a physical book.

P.P.S. Not sure how best to translate すれ違い in a single word. The closest phrase I can think of is "at the right place at the wrong time". I'm sure there's a French word that captures that well.

The best kind of love rival: one that gets sorted out in a single chapter.

If you want to support the Mangaka, find out if he has a patreon. Buying the book only helps the book seller, and maybe the publisher. The author is not going to see another penny. He's already been paid. It's contract work, no royalties.

Yes third volume!!

@princeofcups
No it's not, Japanese manga industry didn't work like that. If the manga adapted into an anime they indeed won't have more money from DVD selling but manga authors get more money when their books sold more, that's why lots of anime is just a promotional media to increase their book selling. Gintama author's said it himself that the way to make manga author richer is by buying their books.

Sudou-kun.

*symphatetic eyes.*

You done and did well. Good job.

@Toonlink48

Closest bookstore, Amazon/tokopedia.

I believe you can check the official link on animeplanet. But shipment is very time taking and expensive.

So i just seek the closest bookstores. I don't know how the money flows to the author. But i believe by buying books in official bookstore and website some of the money will go to the author even if it's pennies.

I bought couple of books per year. Most of them is for school tho but i could slip one manga or two.
But an average manga book could go 100rp and above. So i rarely bought one unless i wanted to support an author or checking out good novel books.

That face of hers on page 10 after he proclaims he loves her... Priceless.

I'm so glad this isn't ending at two volumes. They're so sweet and fluffy. It's a shame he won't even tell Amai he loves her though.

Wow, this teacher is the king of bad advice. Holy shit.
"If you like them that much, you shouldn't give up"
"Being heartbroken and depressed isn't a bad thing. It's just like an aching muscle. Think of it as your heart mending itself."
"The pain will make you stronger. "
"So do your best getting depressed."

Edit: @red_bean_casserole This is why you're the *insert translation group role here*? Still shitty advice regardless.
