When I saw the panel for the first chapter I was thinking the same thing as you mentioned but then I saw the knife in the third chapter I was thinking 'Oh, it actually was foreshadowed..."

Think so as well. It's kinda sad tbh because she's the younger one so logically the parents would favor her more, kinda like that flashbacks she had. Man this is so interesting
