This is so much boomer nonsense.Personal notes;
- Studying conventionally isn't worth it, you aren't taught to teach yourself, most education is designed poorly, lacking intuition.
- Learn these mental skills and do experiments, you'll learn far better and faster this way utilising tangible understanding.
- The rat race has imploded, qualification value has inflated due to educational decline and trend following/competition.
- Create something yourself instead of contributing to the slop regime. even something modest and practical.
- We're in a position now where on average builders earn more than computer scientists in the long run.
- Hedonism is creating a cycle of misery.
- People's coping mechanisms are creating aftershock downers which only encourages more hedonism.
- You'd be surprised how much time you have when you stop engaging with vice as much.
- The only net increase here is greater misery and more intense negative thinking.
- Many are pathologising politics and contributing to the socio political pendulum.
- We don't want to end up implementing an experimental idealistic system just because the current one has been corrupted. In turn creating far more suffering.
- Change the man not the system as so far all systems designed to reduce corruption only obscure it in turn making it more prevalent than ever. Man, in their fear of something, often strengthens it.
- Have a reason for working, usually a child or someone you want to care for, makes it a lot easier.
- Find purpose.
I'm 29 and this is literally saying don't waste your time in the rat race...This is so much boomer nonsense.
And the one sentence with absolutely no substance is stereotypical "zoomer" nonsense. I'd take the "boomer" over the alternative which appears to be just a piece of garbage. This is so much boomer nonsense.
Dawg you missed the great anime shift? Normies dont gotta hate on manga & anime anymore.Well I guess no amount of studying will help you if you go around quoting cartoons at people
So you can be the one causing others to cry, rather than doing the crying yourself.
Be the one holding the whip, not the one getting whipped.![]()
I haven't known a lower or middle level manager yet that didn't lament being promoted out of a technical position. I worked in engineering though. They complain about having to force people to work to unrealistic deadlines, being held responsible when they're not met, and being unable to give the raises people deserve. It's highly stressful as they're looked down on from both above and below.Pretty sure the one causing others to cry is also crying about needing to work. In fact, I'd say most of those people practically spent their youth wageslaving harder than most. AND IF, If they somehow managed to get to a high position almost entirely through nepotism or whatever - you know they're gonna get fucked up when something actually difficult comes that they're ill-prepared for, and even if they have tons of money, they'd never grow as a person and just have a hedonistic life if they got everything on a silver platter, ultimately being damned either way, just offset.
That is to say - you're gonna be crying either way unless you're 1 in a million. Just be content with what you got, and make some kids, that's what I'd say.
No, that was the look of Enlightenment...maybe should add the horror tag too. The girl was horrified
