this is most likely due to me being a perfectionist, excessively anal about everything, but i want to appeal to the lowest common denominator reader as much as possible. the reader that just reads the chapters and doesn't even gloss over the TL notes, skipping everything else. this includes saving them a click by keeping the page count as low as possible
beyond the lowest common denominator, i also want to try to reduce burnt neurons as much as possible. people who honestly might not care about the history of the development of this scanlation may just end up burning a bit of brain space due to that chapter edit notice page. it's information that ultimately probably won't help them at all in life, and will waste them a few seconds. at least with the TL notes it's fun trivia, but this is genuinely not even fun. i opt to remove this unnecessary page specifically for that reason; to save them both time and effort
i do think that the concerns you raise are valid, however. i'll think about it some more, but i'll probably end up pasting some information about the history of the scanlation (including this page we're talking about) in the
general comments for this manga at some point later. that way, people who are genuinely interested, such as aspiring/current scanlators looking to learn from my mistakes, or perhaps the future scanlators of this manga, should worst come to worst, can easilly access it forever
(until the servers go down) without having to wait for a youtuber to make a 9 hour long video about this lost media credits page. thank you for the inquiry!
