This banger of a chapter reminds me of that series about the mother who deludes herself into thinking her dead son got Isekai'd and badgers the MC into Isekai (suicide) research. The increasingly relevant point of that one, at least for the MC, ended up being that anyone can find "another world" just by being a little bit brave and looking for new experiences in the actual, non-fictional world around them instead of digging themselves deeper into delusional wish-fulfillment.

That one was good, too bad it hasn't been updated in a while. Apparently it's complete in Japanese, was there anywhere else to read it in English besides here?

And missing the key component of modern isekai: reincarnation. They literally go to the place. Nobody ever does that anymore!
