One thing I really like about this series is how everyone is kinda doofy looking - so many of these comics present everyone in a kind of sanitised way where everyone looks kinda handsome or cute, whereas both our MCs look like proper nerds here, and the side characters can range from the kid with a double chin, to a pretty gyru girl, and all of them are treated equally rather than by their looks.

Gotta say, I actually really like Ren, he's funny as hell
