The Average SnK Enthusiast: SnK is the perfect manga, Yams is a good writer and everything is perfectly connected through PARALLELS.

The Average AoT Enjoyer: lel, Eren could’ve used the Attack Titan’s powers to save his mom from dying but instead chose to use it to bully his dad.

He willingly put himself in the position to commit genocide, he saw the future and most likely forgot about how to prevent himself from going all the way.

Yams is a hack on the levels of Anno and Miyazaki.

Isayama tried so hard and got so far but in the end his plot didn’t even matter.

Eren could’ve used the Attack Titan’s powers to save his mom from dying but instead chose to use it to bully his dad.

Wouldn't saving his mom alter the course of the story so drastically that Lynar/Burrito/Annie would end up succeeding in their mission? Eren feels the weight of his actions, sure, but he stays pragmatic enough to know that saving his mommerino would cross a line of selfishness that would result in many more 'loved ones' deaths.

Also, Eren's resignation unto 'muh fate' is pretty k-k-k-k-kino tbh. Other shounen protags would be all like "we can change fate through the power of dattebayo!"

I also won't be touching any of the leaks for the last two chapters with a ten foot pole, as I'd prefer to be let down witness the comeback formally and through natural means.

You’re forgetting the fact that the Attack Titan is only inherited by people who are natural born rebels.

It would be pure kino if Eren decided to rebel against on his own destiny in order to avoid killing people by telling his mother to tatakae in the woods.

Isayama probably ignored this plot point because he’s writing himself into a corner over kneeling to Umi da.

If he rebels against destiny then he's maybe just putting off Paradis' inevitable annihilation by a little while, which he knows is pretty much just lying down and taking it in the ass. Since he has the option of tatakaeing for his freedom, why wouldn't he capitalize on that?

Tatakae in the woods means he’d just tell her to find somewhere to hide before Lainah turns the wall into his personal onahole.

But yeah...he’s delaying the inevitable BUT at least he’d have his mommy to be proud of his war crimes.

However, this plot hole could validate the “Mikasa is stuck in a time loop” theory.

TL;DR: all genocide maniacs gamers were mama’s boys.
