That did confuse me. Like it might be ok to say the voice is familiar and leave it at that, but even with the Tokyo context it feels like a step too far.Huh? What? This would be such a big no no in the vtubing sphere, you don't just go ahead and say shit like ''oh yeah lol i met the guy/girl behind this vtuber irl by chance lol'' when you do not know them.
This feels incredibly wrong which is odd considering that so far the author got a fair few things right when it comes to vtubers.
I’m confused? How is this doxxing? All she said is she may have run into he/she (they don’t even know) in real life? What personal info does this give out?Isn't she like.. breaking one of the golden rules of vtubing ?..
By essentially doxxing his real identity and giving away bits without his explicit permission and she probably talked about him to her agency 🤨
Somehow i feel like him having her agency advertised in his stream will lead to him being weirdly pushed into joining (through rumors etc).. hope I'm wrong 😶
Just the gender alone could've given away a lot (even if she wasn't sure), since he never specified it and people were still speculating on it, but i wouldn't be surprised, if she tried running into him again and spoke to him about it.I’m confused? The only traits she gave was “they were either a boyish girl or a girlish boy” and “they were the height I like”. Neither of which give… any information at all. Everyone already KNOWS the person in question is either a feminine boy or a boyish girl, it’s immediately recognizable since they’ve at least partially appeared in person in their cooking videos, and the streamer does not say how tall they were only that they liked their height. Additionally a (extremely) vague physically appearance doesn’t matter since MC is actively going to attend a live meeting (in cosplay) as of last chapterJust the gender alone could've given away a lot (even if she wasn't sure), since he never specified it and people were still speculating on it, but i wouldn't be surprised, if she tried running into him again and spoke to him about it.
Though my point was that she gave away his real life traits, doxxing in a sense of outing the real life self of a vtuber, without knowing them or having spoken with them, while nothing of his real life is known.
