That did confuse me. Like it might be ok to say the voice is familiar and leave it at that, but even with the Tokyo context it feels like a step too far.

Just the gender alone could've given away a lot (even if she wasn't sure), since he never specified it and people were still speculating on it, but i wouldn't be surprised, if she tried running into him again and spoke to him about it.

Though my point was that she gave away his real life traits, doxxing in a sense of outing the real life self of a vtuber, without knowing them or having spoken with them, while nothing of his real life is known.

The only traits she gave was “they were either a boyish girl or a girlish boy” and “they were the height I like”. Neither of which give… any information at all. Everyone already KNOWS the person in question is either a feminine boy or a boyish girl, it’s immediately recognizable since they’ve at least partially appeared in person in their cooking videos, and the streamer does not say how tall they were only that they liked their height. Additionally a (extremely) vague physically appearance doesn’t matter since MC is actively going to attend a live meeting (in cosplay) as of last chapter

This manga’s atmosphere is great, and it is interesting how NIJISANJI is the "BIG" company reference, with IRL issues they faced and their domestic expansion strat.

Back in 2022, when this manga came out, Hololive was massive but still far behind Nijisanji in Japan.
Plus, HL had just gone through major dramas like Rushia’s crash down and had recently lost Coco. Still, I wonder if the mangaka would have used Niji today, given Anycolor’s recent dramas (mostly on the ENG side, yes, but with some big JP ones as well) and how Cover has become a very beloved company. (Though it could simply be that the mangaka is a Nijisanji fan.)

Well, I only watch indies now since both companies have disappointed me enough, and I know Anycolor still has a higher Nikkei value and outperforms Cover in brute profits and stocks, but that’s business bullshit, fan perception is a whole different story.
