I like how they are trying to portray this dude as a prepper-like smart guy but hes just utterly braindead.
His house is absolutely not a safe place to stay especially considering the military will likely move in some time soon.
A few dinosaur like monsters running around the city is absolutely not something that would require nuclear bombs to deal with.
He should be packing his go back and looking for a way out asap instead he took a shower and started watching TV after literally watching a woman getting eaten in her house on his way back.

Ugh, I REALLY have come to loath these 'screens' that come with people getting powers. They never address the elephant in the room when they can do this - why would you see a screen? It implies that you are seeing something digital, that the world is digital, and therefore, you are in some sort of simulation and possibility don't 'actually' exist. The existential philosophical questions from these things are never brought up, even for a moment.

Not to mention these screens are just passe now.
