I don't think wanting to give an answer that make the other happy necessary means that it's mutual love. It could be that you cherish them enough to not want to hurt them and perserve the current relationship. I'm rootting for them but understand that currently Tsubaki is simply too young for Yuu to even consider him as a potential love partner. They both need time.

this is so unrealistic of a teenaged boy to say. like, he would not support the main character, rather he’d be grossed out by it. i wish this manga would stop trying to be so pure hearted - i mean a 16-17 yo having a relationship with an elementary schooler is supposed to be creepy. which i don’t mind since it’s all fictional. it’s just weird that the author is choosing to make this in the same format of a boys love manga without the huge age gap.

I read this with no brain because i know the premise alone is already problematic by its own. But the idea of his friend being so okay for this dude 'in love' with fucking elementary school kid is so fucking insane lmao. Even self indulgence would still have common sense a bit
