So this is what the anime would have been like if they decided to reveal, not all, but some 1st and not thrust all the mysteries into the audience. Feeling more tension and the bewilderment of the girls when being push to the "Audition", unlike in the anime which seem like all the girls, beside Karen, seem to know everything about the "Audition" from the start.
At least this manga explained the costume changed, since in the anime they just suddenly changed in the next scene, and even Karen didn't question about how she changed the costume.
I'm actually liking Hikari's attitude here. That hint of arrogance and evilness instead of just trying to be cold and aloof, the one that was aiming for the "Top Star".
