Kuno uses Ore, while Sainami only used Ore in the first chapter twice when trying to confess about also originally being a boy, but outside of that Sainami uses Watashi.

This all computes. Kuno is a recent convert so he/she probably hasn’t fully accepted they are no longer male. While Sainami has probably accepted there is no going back so abopts a more gender neutral pronoun. That said Sainami hasn’t fully transitioned into the female mental state because when they find that condom wrapper he/she is worried that other might suspect they are having sex. Which leads me to believe that he/she still thinks they’re male on the inside. I’m not sure if Kuno pointing out that they are both female in body is supposed to be the punchline since the scene change sort of indicates that to be the case.


As for Sainami’s younger brother, this one is easy really. Sainami probably hasn’t changed significantly since his/her transition and so for all intents and purposes his big bro is still his big brother. I half expect that Sainami to have an older sister (or close female cousin) too.
