Well, that was terrifying. Ridley also is much more distrustful of other people, presumably due to her past that we saw in Chapter 5 (Planet of Summer). Her backstory seems to involve scientists, and she says that her memories "aren't fun to look back on."

And, of course, murder machine Watari is as great as ever. The art in this manga is amazing overall.

Indeed. Brain scans show that psychopaths process words differently; for them, sequences of phonemes or of characters are basically ways of pushing buttons to get desired reactions. Pure psychopaths don't really recognize persons as such, and don't imaging an interchange of thoughts.

People who use words without regard to meaning are in this respect like psychopaths.

For some reason I really get Girls Last Tour vibes from this manga...
