Only a few animals do rituals for the dead, and even if the process is kind of meaningless in the grand scheme, i find the thought of the planet being this one great memorial to be neat

i do like how we don't get any concrete answers on what the civilization was truly like before the apocalypse
we just get inferences based on what they left behind
it really does feel like an archaeology class
