Yup i highly doubt they will continue this so i really hope KS group will not drop this!
I really like this manga and the other works which "orange scans" did before he stopped.
Luckily "The Queens Swarm" already got a group...
Sadly the other "Navy soldier" (or something) doesn't and seems like now this too doesn't?

really hope thats not the case
like i get wanting high-quality scans but coming in, acting smarmy and condescending to the people scanning it, and then leaving is really crappy behavior. i fully admit the scans were better but their attitude lost any kind of goodwill they could have got from me. KS got the story across well enough imo and now we probably wont get anything at all.

Literally just noticed, reminds me of the early 2000's when everything was a forum page, kinda miss the chapter comments being 'in-site' as it was before tho, but comment sections are comment sections

Yea, though rawkuma uploads each chapter in halves (hence why KS uploaded each chapter in 2 parts) every month, so it'll be 2 months before the next upload cuz I personally don't like splitting chapters for no reason

fair enough, i suppose since we're still getting chapters and im just a reader myself (i.e. not involved in scanning in any way) its out of my hands either way, i just hate how scan wars tend to play out where eventually both groups just drop it. this series is a decent read as far as isekais go and it would have been a shame to see it dropped again after it had only recently been picked back up.

I disagree. KS usually does decent enough work, but their translation quality on this series has been sub-par. We should be thankful another group stepped up to give us a better translation.

i think the main issue was that it was unclear whether hidden was actually picking up the series after they released the chapter, so when ks then released their next chapter and announced they were dropping it it seemed like the series was dead again. it appears as though hidden will indeed be picking it up so all's well that ends well i suppose, though i personally dont really have a preference for who translates it so long as it continues to be translated.

Instead of buster sword, I think the proper term for バスターソード (basutaasoodo) is bastard sword. It's a common term used in JRPG games.

Talking to my TL, they say that bastard swords are different to buster swords. Bastard swords are thinner and more like longer, regular swords.@HIDDEN_Bard

I agree, especially since there was no clear difference between the two besides the upscaling. The only clear difference was the appended sfx translations but there wasn't any sfx cleaning or redrawing.

Well I saw the latest raws. Hope someone picks up the TL. Things are getting good!
This is just completely incorrect lmao. The chapters KS group translated were absolutely riddled with mistakes, grammatical errors and just straight up incorrect translations. They can't even be consistent with their spelling of names within the same chapter. In fact from what I've seen, releasing borderline unreadable chapters is the only thing they're consistent with.
This TL had a few mistakes and clunky localisations, sure, but it's worlds apart from the standards that KS were releasing. The previous 4 chapters were just a chore to get though, and almost made me stop reading this series altogether.
