I think it's more like the bleed out effect, but after some time magic should help him, well we probably will learn later or maybe he has an elixir or the same potions that helped the king to not die, he was in a worse state than Dai

Also, I'm kind of annoyed by the isekai'd girls. So what if they want to get home? Why is them getting home worth more than the lives of some people, tens of people, or tens of hundreds of people? Keep in mind that their acts were likely to start a war back up. Why's these girls' problem make it okay for a bunch of innocent people to die?

The machete/cleaver he used is a magic weapon with the special ability to leave you with a bleeding wound, you can't heal it until the effect wears off, it's why Dai was on the brink of death for like two chapters.

Also, I find it hilarious that Kokuyou shows Dai what warp speed looks like, tosses him off, and he's only moved three feet away from Touya.
