They are stranded, not tourists and they are literally modern privileged minors, as in: shielded from hardships, unexperienced and childish.

Yeah, Manhua protags are definitely built differently. Often helps with washing the bad taste from seeing wimpy japanese ones acting like total doormats away.

And even if your point wasn't completely idiotic already, it is very much personal to the people being killed while they are in the process. And I never denied the second half of your post, yet it is entirely inconsequential to what I wrote.
However, addressing that: These mercenaries are murderers who attacked a trading caravan, not a single bit better than brigands. They aren't soldiers or knights fighting against willing combatants on a battlefield. Saying these two are equal is despicable.

If there's one thing I always get confused/irked by, its limb loss in a magic fantasy. The dude healed a room full of people inches away from death, but healing back an arm? Now that's too far into lala-land, what are you, crazy?!

It may not be the "miracle" type magic where it ignores the laws of equivalent exchange, and instead is the type that just accelerates the body's natural healing. This would explain why the spell closes wounds but can't restore limbs, because the latter is something the human body wasn't designed to do.

Really? Even if you're a teenager, there's a bottom limit to stupidity. Especially if you're familiar with the basics of the fictional world from video games. Admittedly a bit more foreign, and strange, due to whole summoning thing.

But "not being robbed after walking in public" is a fairly low bar. Unless you're visiting SF in a rental car...
