"what if I subjugate the prince?"
"it would still be a battle to the death, war of attrition, kill or be killed"
"don't worry I have my own plan"
then his plan is just fuckin capture the prince. if this results in anything other than the armies ignoring this bullshit scenario and fighting anyways im gonna keep reading cuz im cucked
The only thing I anticipated is when he reveal he's a sage who also a berserker. Other than that, the plot is generic. Good plot, but generic. Beside, i already predict the plot since chapter 5. Too easy to see.
Wow, what a checkmate.
I actually did not expect that at all
not sure yet if I like how that turned out, but I guess I will give it points for being different.
Also that General on the beastmen side is a bit of a butt isn't he?
Keeps making angry gestures towards MC and calling him coward who saved his ass countless times before.
I really like this outcome. It subverts expectations, you would think he would magic in a grandiose way... But no, sneaky in filtration to capture the king piece. pretty cool.
Man, that (sub-?)guildmaster suddenly being evil really was too weird of a sudden change. But MC using that to trojan-horse that shitty dump of a city really makes it make sense (since there'll obviously be a big reveal of the GM just having done those things to help the MC).
