@al_pacino there are several bridges connect from the residence areas to St.Michael Castle, all were collapsed as seen on p27. I only draw simple one of them. It's entirely possible that several Turkish forces attacked different gates with similiar but not identical design / layout, as thus you were seeing them from different location with minor difference.

Alos there is no direct bridge between Mur and St.Michael Castle, they are however connects by 'highway' running through residence with atleast 3 gate houses guarding them, as seen on my drawing. The main Turskish force punched through the Mur gate house, the Venedik+ Tursk force attacked at the rear Mur gate house and the 2nd gate house guarding the Residence to allow 1st force keeping the momentum to punch through the 3rd gate house guarding the Castle itself, however they are disrupted by the collapsing bridge.
