Actually, it's good for your health to endure, as long as you still get enough essential nutrients. Living in hunger regularly makes one live longer. I guess whether it's good for the mental health would depent on the person. Naturally it would also take a fair amount of willpower.
@Kaarme
Apparently metabolism is the reason why we get old, so if we stop eating, we'll live forever (Or so i remember from the Death video from Lemino).
nee-san is wrong, cooking for oneself is self-improvement and freedom. It's a good thing to be able to cook whatever it is you want to eat instead of relying on 3rd parties to provide it for you. Being able to taste something delicious and then learn it and cook it so you can have it again whenever you please is a most rewarding experience.
Kawasumi's right, she's just lazy lol.
Keep in mind that this is technically progress/character development
Not only is he getting bolder and more assertive, but he's starting to realize how he feels and come to terms with it. For 25 chapters in, starting it now is actually pretty good all things considered.
@XxxARTSxxX In the previous chapter, according to the raw, there are no kanji for "middle or high", only mentions the school.
I assumed (and forgot to ask Squiggles about that) that Squiggles just seemed to leave it at that, but this time it's Kawasumi who says it (or she may just not know it well) xd
Wait, so is he in middle school or high school?
Seeing that he can cook & study all by himself and goes home from school pre-3pm (3 PM is Saori-nee's break time), I can't really tell
There aren't many hints regarding Yuusuke's school aside from he doesn't hang out with his friends or he has no friends in school because of his "studies"
@XxxARTSxxX@Human_the_2nd the manga description in comic-days in japanese say that the kid is in junior high/middle school, so he is in middle school, and is part of the english description here too in the manga page lol
@tseng
But in the Japanese one, he was more or less described as someone who's in school
In the english one he was described as a middle schooler
I was curious why didn't they just say "A boy who's in his school days" or somethin'
@Human_the_2nd ? this is the japanese description for the manga in comic-days raw page, and there is this one specific line in it 中学生・二宮くん, which say junior high student/middle school student Ninomiya-kun (junior high or middle school, is the same anyway), there is no age for him yet i think, but he must be at his last year of middle school, so around 14-15
