For a manga that tries to be serious with a 14 year age gap theme, I'd say 30 chapters is too short to flesh out the ending we want, needed more development. So this ending is fitting for me. Enjoyed reading it very much still.

Don’t really think he would’ve been cool with the outcome. I know he talked with his dad and got to stay and school etc but I can’t remember love being discussed there? Or am I misremembering?
