I must have been living under a rock because why is Woohui suddenly on the attack. I don't remember her being this straight forward and launching herself at Jiho

Started a few chapters ago, and it's a shocking role reversal. Woo Hui realized that she is fine with having feelings for Jiho and goes on the attack. And Jiho, despite having spent a year flirting with and trying to fool around with Woo Hui, is scared of success.

I think that Jiho is worried about betrayal or ruining her friendship in some way. It goes back to when she confessed to her friend in high school and got rejected, and lost her friend. So she went on a crusade of shallow hookups with people she doesn't care about. Can't get hurt if you don't care. She cares about Woo Hui, and can't deal with that.

The big tension in the story now is how long Woo Hui will tolerate this nonsense. Long enough to break down Jiho's walls? Or will Jiho self-destruct again, and go back to being a lonely ronin who slays baddies? Yeonwoo showing up is like Jiho's past behavior coming to haunt her. It could be the catalyst for Jiho to try and change for the better. Or it could drag her back down to hell.
