It's always amusing when people comment about plot armor, especially when they're the main character. If you want to see people without it, read Game of Thrones. This is a fun story, and yes she will most likely pull something out of her ass or someone will help her that's the fun part.

Dude, your sword isn't a blunt end sword, it is clearly pointy at the end. That full force stab that even made her body contort from the force should have killed her then and there. It's not like she's wearing any armor either.

Plot armor really just saved the MC huh.

And even if they later retcon the image and instead make the blade flat, even though it clearly wasn't such as on page 5, it doesn't eliminate the fact that he should have just cleaved her in half. I mean why establish that this guy just straight up goes for the kill shot at every enemy he comes across, only to break character and not have him aim for the kill shot right there and then on an Unarmored little girl that he clearly wants to kill.
