hmm people seems confused with the whole try to be a kid the first time they met, i think it's pretty obvious that, that act is just so mc can get into the safe place or something like that, and after that, mc don't need to act like a kid anymore.

or it's just mc old man personality lol, like back when mc still an old man, he looks like didn't bother with socializing so he just winging it (on the whole socializing part), because he focuses on becoming stronger part lol, and that's just my opinion or what i can gather using my shit brain.

my nitpick is that the old man when fighting the gal hero is instantly end, ngl i was hoping atleast trading like 5 blows before ending the old man sekiro style, like deflect deflect deflect by the hero and then bam deathblow, wouldn't that be cooler? well that's just my opinion lol

I thought there would be at least something to balance them out. MC was 1 of the strongest in his country and got 1 shotted. Even 1 of the heroes is cancerous enough to deal with.

Also, why is she fighting for the empire? Seems to me they're a generic expansionist nation, hardly good-guys. They're not heroes, just garden variety conquerors.

The defenses of this castle are a joke. The portcullis wasn't down during night and the drawbridge doesn't even exist. Even in reality without superhumans, a few guys with a battering ram could break into this fort within a few minutes.
Why even take the effort to build such an expensive fort if it has such massive weak points. The mangaka didn't think that through.
