This is why I keep saying Wenne is best girl--the most loyal of them all (alongside Tia), though his treatment of his Selene was terrible. Actually, this MC's treatment of all these girls except for the one who gave up on him is horrible; he views every single one of them in a utilitarian manner for the sake of his goal, paying no attention to their feelings or their being more than just macht generators. I saw a good example of this right before he killed that demon: he told the demon not to make "his companions" cry. There was only one "companion" with him at the time, the girl was just someone he met days before at most; that one "companion" he had there, he didn't even name.
Only name he ends up calling out, after all was said and done, was that girl who didn't care to fight for her future with him in the first place.
