@degenerateafro: Of all the things that have been happening lately in the plot (up to this point, anyway, I'm still behind), this is one of the things that makes
a lot of sense. They beat the everloving hell out of Johnny Slightly-Less-Than-Average, adding to that wanton sexual abuse...all for the purpose of "creating" a man who would treat them worse than living sex toys (sex toys cost money, after all; to be too careless is to destroy an investment). These are all almost always true of modern women:
-They frequently seek to change men
-They frequently see "nice guys" as secretly abusive, et cetera
--Failing this, they frequently take pure kindness (absent the benign and benevolent masculine control they crave but have been programmed to hate) for granted
-They frequently fall for abusive, genuinely vicious men who will exert malicious control over them (which they have been programmed to love, minimizing their behavior and dangerous predilections by calling them "bad
boys"
--In this case, they either also seek to change them (as said above) or really think that they are the only ones these "bad boys" won't hurt
Actually, a lot of this manga, so far, has reflected many of the behaviors and tendencies of modern women...but it seems many who read it see T&A, are focused on just those two things, and have been too focused and hungry for more to notice the parallels. The story might just be an accurate hypothetical prediction of the state of a world that's fallen completely into the hands of women.
