I love how earlier in the series Hlokk wanted nothing to do with Jack and now the 2 of them are just casually chilling in her room like besties

It's honestly really sweet. Still my favorite pair in the series so far. Jack's salvation at Hercules' hands was beautiful.


I'm also really happy that his spin-off showed him to be much more nuanced and interesting than we thought.

If this battle was to be fair, by the standards of the manga itself, Simo's gun should be able to fire holy bullets without needing to sacrifice anything (Others already pointed out how that makes no sense when you take into account Jack's power to turn anything into a sacred weapon).
Also, Simo didn't give a fuck about killing, he just did it, no one who feels bad about doing it does it hundreds of times when they could just run away.

So a canon, not nerfed Simo Haya would just headshot Loki the moment the battle starts and Loki starts to talk bullshit into a megaphone. Thats pretty much how this battle should be.

To be fair to the whole Jack/Simo debacle, the glove ability isn't Jack's, it's Hlokk's. The different Valkyries have different abilities, so Hlokk being The Warping One can affect the items she touches, and we haven't had Radgridr's translated name yet but the direct translation is Council-Truce or The Bossy, so it probably relates to give and take, exchange, or relinquishment.

He also listed his kills as sins in his memoirs. He may not have hesitated in the moment, but he could still have wished that the war didn't happen and that he didn't have to shoot so many people. He did what he felt was his duty, but that doesn't mean he couldn't also dislike it.

Probably the more vital the organ the more powerful the bullet is, so the appendix or gall bladder wouldn't be enough to take out the clone army and the super clone hidden in it.
