So I have a theory about what Simo's weapon may be able to do, but it's only a theory-

-So Radgridr translates roughly to "Truce of Counsel", so what if her power allows equality between players. We all know Loki is a Trickster God, and would most likely tilt the playing field to his advantage. Would it not be advantageous for their to be fairness in this fight? Make things a level playing field? It would surely throw Loki off his game if the fight was not in his favor.
And this is not to say Simo couldn't defeat Loki with the odds stacked against him, we all know how badass he was during the war. But I would love to see Loki on the back foot after trying to pull a trick and it not even going off because Radgridr already neutralized it.

I'm really hoping the author decides to include Simo's jaw disfigurement he received from an explosive bullet. Maybe its a detail that could appear in the later stages of his match with Loki when the match nears its end or he is heavily injured.

his silhoutte in page 39 seems to show a scar on his left cheek, and he cover his mouth despite not snowing/cold so i guess that a confirmation we will see what you want.

I'm not familiar with Simo Häyhä

He was quite literally the Boogeyman to the Russians during the war. People were scared shitless to head into any area where he was reported to be and the only way they got him was with explosives - which didn't kill him.

He took an explosive to the face, they thought he was dead and threw him into a pile of corpses while he was in a coma. After realizing he was alive, they pulled him out. There's a joke that the Russians ended the war the day he woke up, because they were scared to fight him again (he woke up from his coma literally the day they signed the peace treaty).

Can't say I fully understand the Brunhilde - Loki interaction here. Why did Brun ask Loki specifically? And why did Loki accept?

Loki loves Brunhilde, but she loves Siegfried. She used that to try and get him to sacrifice himself to save Siegfried, but it currently looks like he's planning to win to doom Siegfried and keep her all to himself. Note that the doll of Brunhilde is completely undamaged after the tantrum in his room.
