I'm having trouble seeing Enma wins after he triggered the classic 'Know your place!' and 'This is your limit!' defeat flags.

Something that's cool with that spin off is seeing the Gods actually go all in and use their divine weapons. Quite a few gods in the main manga just don't use their full powers and abilities as Gods cause they're fighting humans. Like Zeus or Poseidon who didn't use their powers.
