Alright, I think I can elaborate on the whole blushing thing so, oof, here I go.
Now the, "just because she blushed doesn't mean she's gay" is a good, valid point that I would agree on, and I did for a little bit as well because, well, she's shy and that's the answer most people came up with to defend that claim. However, I think what most people are forgetting, though I have seen people point this out, is the fact that she herself pointed it out. That may seem like something that's not too important, but it does show the reader something very important. It shows the reader that even for someone as shy as her, even she thinks that blushing at that time was strange for her and was worth calling out. Also, it's important to note that she doesn't call out her own actions very much, because she and the reader knows it's probably because she's shy or for other obvious reasons. So pointing out something like this is quite a big deal and most definitely hints at something.
