didn't he just put a ring on her? The ringed people are fundmentally different from the Amalareiks members. The ring thing is what he was doing long before anyone heard of Amalareiks.

This is the preview of chapter 54 from the official twitter account. She finishes the tranformation in those preview pages and the tweet itself calls her a new member. Presumably this would've been Iko's fate as well if Teru wasn't there when she first transformed. I assume with Teru there Iko could fight it until Teru was able to get the ring off whereas Reporter Lady doesn't really have that so she just submits immediately. Guess we'll see once the next chapter's translated though.
