I like that the author hit the nail on the head with the bad boys thing. The girl with a bright future pretty much screws herself over for a douche bag because she wanted the whole package of alpha and nice guy. She thought she could change him and let him bang her and abuse her in the belief she could influence him to be a better person. She seems to have realized, or is growing to realize, that she jumped the gun (pun!) and treated him as though he already was who she wants him to be. She might eventually realize that bad people really are simply bad people. You cannot fix what is not broken.
Girls have this weird and self-destructive tendency to go for the bad guys because they imagine what they think they can have if they succeed in making those guys better. But by doing that really all they do is reward those guy’s bad behavior. And like I said, the girls tend to treat those guys as though they already succeeded, which just reinforces the bad guys’ behavior and attitude.
After all, if being a violent douche means you get one or more hot babes who will let you do what you want to them and are obedient, doesn’t that just prove you’re living the best way for yourself? And if the girls want the guys to change for the better, they should stop putting out their bodies to those guys.
The girls get into it but they give the guy the carrot whenever he wants and have no stick. Then they’re surprised that they fail miserably and end up feeling used and abused and no good guy will touch them because why would they when they have no reason to and aren’t interested in sloppy seconds? Contrary to what most girls believe, most guys are not attracted to a woman being “experienced” and strongly dislike slutty behavior. Where did the girls think the social norms of disdaining that behavior came from? And it’s the women themselves who pushed to have that behavior accepted by society.
At the very least, to any girls reading this comment, if you do not treat your body and yourself as special and valuable, then it is not special or valuable. If you sleep around, why would a guy think of your body as special or valuable at all? He would not. Duh.
