R.I.P. Tony Todd, the actor whose most famous role was the titular character of the Candyman film franchise. The first Candyman movie was released in 1992, and although it did not do well at the box office, it soon gained a cult following, paving the way for subsequent sequels. Tony Todd's character was one of the inspirations of our scanlation group's mascot. (The other inspiration is, of course, the M&M spokescandies.)
