All of this could have been a avoided if bro just discarded the nan(south wind) first. Now we didn't have a good look at the discards but considering that the old man had a pair of all the dragon tiles and that satou had a Haku, and the other guy had a Hatsu that would mean that their wasn't many dragon tiles in the discard. If bro would have just delt the nan and held the Haku the first time until his hand got better then he wouldn't have been in this position. This is why discard reading is important. Always either get rid of dangerous tiles earlier in the match or hold them and discard them when you reach tenpai
