When I spent 2 months in Japan, I would make exact change for my convenience store purchases before going to the counter at all. Tax is included in the list prices there so it was pretty easy, my most common purchase was a 100 yen boxed fruit tea and a ~250 yen snack.Japan and their coins. Seriously about $16 in small change!? This is why people always count money in front of Japanese store counters. Though the cashier would always wait politely for the customer to count their coins, which is nice.
Of course, once every week or two they'd have to break a ten thousand yen bill for me... because all of the money I got on arrival was in that form....
Anyway! To the scanlator! Thanks so much for doing this series, it's amazing!
