I just hope that "trained successor" ojou either gets tf out real quick or completely falls. (I... dont really like eternally drawn out drama/scheming)
@Macrendil - Well, considering that she’s probably gonna join the club, she’s more likely to get redeemed, figure out what Sayuri’s really like, and become friends with her for real. Not necessarily in that order. Rinse and repeat with every other future “antagonist”.
Oh my God! Is this the famous "villain of the new arc being transferred to the MC class in order to fulfill their difficult plan against them" ?! It's like I dug up a medieval sword!
Now the question is if this new evil girl will become a partner and friend or the 2nd biggest evil to overcome since we all know the guy that plans to bankrupt the company is the final boss.
Not to mention gotta prepare for the biggest recession in the future.
Based on the tone of this story so far I'm going to put my money on her being converted to believing in the good in people and breaking free from her family's tradition of cruelty. I'd wager she played a role in the MC's demise in the original timeline.
I'd rather the new girl to never figure out what Sayuri's really like and just kept being dumbfounded by her actions overthinking it as an overly complicated plot when she is just being nice or dumb. Kind of like a Ainz/Demiurge relationship but being a rival instead of an ally
