If you guys want to support the author/artist, Tapas has the official English release almost caught up. Tapas does have free ways to gain their in-app currency, the easiest being either taking surveys or simply getting bonus free gifts through certain app events or from the weekly fortune cookie. There's also comico's Pocket Comics app, which has only 3 episodes less than Tapas and also lets you gain free coins to unlock their episodes through surveys (I was able to fully catch up to The Countess and The Blade on said app, which did take me maybe 40~ coins which I gained for free, of course. New sign ups to Pocket Comics also recieve 20 coins for free, so it's not a bad deal for free.

@LogisticSDreams Tapas is okay, there have been more free ink gifts & events to let you earn bonus ink lately. They added a new feature, a weekly fortune cookie that gives you a random amount of ink from like 200~1000 a few months back.
To read Tapas comics for free I generally use the surveys, there are actually two ways to access different surveys through the free offers, although the less easy to find one has the most different surveys available, so I only found that out recently. The first one is obvious, you can find a banner under the Free Ink menu and the other one is found when you scroll inside the Free Ink offers menu until you find the Mobile Voice surveys site link. It generally takes a few tries to open, but it does work and depending on the survey, can get you thousands of ink at once.
They also just added a ton of good comics to their Wait for Free catalogue, including popular titles such as The Antagonist's Pet, Positively Yours, Adonis, etc.
