the worst part of this is that I'm pretty sure the author is completely oblivious as to how his behaviour comes off, this guy is essentially gloating and enjoying the suffering of the person whom he supposedly loves, and it's presented as "look how cute he's finally learned what love is", I'd be very surprised if he gets called out on this by anyone in the following chapters

it's sad cause love rivals are usually added to create conflict/drama, but this story already had the conflict of the mc not being sure if his feelings are actually his

anyhow this manga has been one of the biggest baits in recent times for me, I really doubt it can bounce back even after this drama arc ends
