Mari Okada can really be "the worst". Just last week I watched her latest movie and it really was THE WORST THING, unbelievable. Her stories have a lot of potential, but everything in some way devolves into hysterical half-irrational drama.

THAT BEING SAID, this manga still has potential, because of Makoto's art.
Did anyone read Hoshino-kun, Shittagate? Wasn't half bad and big part of the reason was Makoto's art, that managed to make some moments feel "a bit magical". Wasn't great but still worth reading, and isn't like we should only read the best of the best, right?

Gah, as much as I want to read this, the TL is absolutely incomprehensible. So many dangling words, weird formatting errors...

It especially sucks because the redraw is so good. I wish someone a bit more capable picked up this series.
