Rights! I can understand there are no lawyers and such, but still gulds and similar authorities would take care of such matters, if not you would have a pretty much lawless domain! Adventurers and merchants would avoid it resulting in a decline and ultimately fail into ruin!
But in many manga they just throw logic out of the window and expect the readers to do the same! Ultimately is our fault for still reading those lazy written stories, encouraging other authors to not even try, when relative garbage get published! And with such saturated market, rare gems go unnoticed!

They should be taking him on as an apprentice, with customs and laws to protect both parties. There ought to be centuries of custom and law to protect both parties of such a relationship. This kind of "handshake deal" is super sketchy.

It probably should be " Reconstruction " instead of revival. Kind of dumb its chapter 1 and a 10% chance thing already happened, probably going to be a braindead story. Like atleast make it the 80% or something item.

I think so too. It's really stupid and made no sense. They asked him to join. There was no contract. If there was, he is f-ing retarded signing it since he knows nothing of his skill. Very forced drama there.
