I mean, the mook at the end of ch 4 wasn't doing so well, and I am not talking about what his boss was doing to him. I don't think that Tame skill has a duration. The lower level ones will probably be robots for quite some time (and that's traumatizing in of itself)... If the protag is even able to release them.
Though that's far darker than I expect this story to go, it doesn't look like it's trying to be deep.

The author is never going to punish their self insert characters by giving actual consequences to careless decisions.

We'll probably never see these dangerous individuals ever again. If we do see them again, then they'll probably get killed by an S rank monster that suddenly appears out of nowhere so the protagonist don't have to make the moral dilemma to dirty their own hands.

In that situation I'd want to experiment with the Domination ability since relatively guilt free test subjects are hard to find. For example, can you give orders that target autonomic bodily functions? Can you order them to raise their blood pressure slowly until their heart gives out or their veins and arteries burst? Can you order their muscles to crush their bones? Useful information to have.
