It might be more of a cost than you think. Like he did say he had enough SP points to tame her. So that means that taming 2 or more people takes more points.

Still call BS. Even taking relitive levels into accout, he tamed that gang a few chapters back when they were multiple times his level. He was also able to tame the swordswoman in just a few minutes at nearly half his current level.

So while I could see it taking a bit to brainjack the strongest douche canoe, his two party members would have fallen in seconds.

The only reason he didn't is because the author/mangaka didn't want to repeat the same solution the MC just used against the gang just a few chapters back.

Instead, the strongest party will be off to either die to the floor 90 boss, or be captured by the "evil kid" that's sitting on the throne.

So let me get this straight. MC tames the lvl 139 sword woman when he was only lvl 48, yet he can't tame two lvl 90s after achieving lvl 79?

Think you are all complaining about the wrong forced plot point here. I mean sure the MC was stupid for provoking this clownshoe who thinks himself the strongest, but I think the greater issue here is his supposed justifications and inability to just brain jack these fucktards and have them self report for their crimes.

if it real his gut would heavy damage and ready to be on the floor at an time.

NGL, I don't think the MC's interruption made him look cool. And gut wounds are notoriously a slow and truely painful way to die. So yeah I agree this is a plot driven story where what happened matters more then how.

But I still can't accept that the MC didn't even bother trying to brainjack the antagonist's entire party. He tamed over ten people that were higher level then him at once. Even the gang leader, who was twice his own level, was captured in seconds. All when he was barely level 20.

Now that he is level 79, two level 90s and a 150+ shouldn't be that much more difficult. Especially when they knew he tamed the level 149 gal while he was only level 48.

i have no issues with the hero self-destructing, but his two party members might take the fall as well, which would be kinda sad, since at least the other guy was just a bystander, even if he did nothing to deescalate the situation.

There were no bystanders in that encounter. That interaction had to be planned in advance.

So in manga that have dungeons that don't absorb everything, there should be piles and piles of shit everywhere. I mean the adventurers are in there for days at a time, right?

I don't know my dude. The MC party was on floor 80 after only two days.
