@FriedRiceWithEgg Danny's mom died. If his father didn't outright kill her, I'm sure whatever abuse he subjected her to didn't help. Danny, presumably through intense hate, manifests some kind of...entity in the form of Eddie, who teaches him how to kill by being his "admiral". He gets Danny strong enough to be able to kill his dad, and once it's done, disappears.

danny is an idiot , he could have chopped up the monster and feed it to the forest animals/ scavengers and gotten away with the crime no need to report to the police that a monster is gone from this world.
