@jak - The expression for died and for disappeared is pretty much the same in Japanese. I didn't have the older chapters in mind as I translated that. Whenever I see 「いなくなった」 I usually think "died".

The next chapter is definitely my favorite of the entire series. Even "reading" the Japanese version was very emotional.
