I mean, unlikely even among reporters to have 'international' connections but surely other than getting the yakuza involved aside, i wonder if they couldn't just send these to a handful of foreign countries whether they're just news outlets or rando yters to spread the news b/c the influence can't be that strong/they wouldn't necessarily go all the way to america to take out some ppl. or just be dismissed as conspiracy theorists with all the 'alien/cryptid' hunters in america lol
