I'm the artist, and I did change my style since the 4-koma to a more carefully rendered work. I started it off as a quick to put together simple 4 koma but then I got more into the story and decided to invest more time in rendering, As well as I have spent extensive amount of effort and time practicing the manga style, trying to land a look I like. It's slowly getting there but I think of this as a sort of art-experiment, since most of my artwork has been western style comics. It takes a little while to adapt to a different visual direction, but I like drawing it so it doesn't bother me.
