Huh, is it just me or is there a missing body of text in the first panel from the right on page 10 (i.e., page 094 of the overall volume)?
This line seems like it should be preceded by another sentence, but is not:

While others talked about finding gold.

I have no idea what the original text is, but it seems to me that it could have been something like this:

He found another notebook containing entries the mouse had written. Some of them talked about finding fossils.
